Is your site secure?
Yes, definitely. Our site uses the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) data encryption process to ensure that your payment details are fully secure and protected.
How will I know my order has been received?
You will receive a receipt at the end of the checkout process recording the complete details of your order. You should save or print a hard copy of your receipt for your records.
How do I check on the progress of my order?
You will have received an order number at the top of your receipt. We have an order checking system on our website (on the upper right side of any page) and you can use your order number to check your order's progress there.
When will my order be shipped
Hand-crafted metal items: when we receive your order for a hand-crafted metal item we'll commence work straight away. You will need to allow up to 28 days between placing your order and expected delivery. Do contact us if your order is urgent, and we'll do our best to meet your requirements.
Stainless steel and fibreglass items:delivery on stainless steel and fibreglass items is approximately 3 weeks.
What about drip trays? Most of our hand-crafted metal planters can be supplied with a matching drip tray for indoor use, at extra cost. Our drip trays are designed to be discreet. We make them slightly smaller than the base of the planter so they lie inside the feet and beneath the drainage holes. The advantage of this design is that the bottom of the planter doesn't sit on the drip tray. We charge £20 for drip trays in any size and finish, with the exception of a drip tray to fit the large Ribbed Cube, which costs £30.
Why don't you accept cancellations of orders and returns on your metal and fibreglass products?
All of our metal and fibreglass products are made specifically to individual order (the only exceptions to this are the circular stainless steel planters, and the timber planters). Because of this, we do not accept cancellation of orders or returned products. We encourage our customers to contact us as much as necessary prior to ordering so we can answer any questions you may have. All our planters are quality-assured prior to despatch. We do accept returns on our circular stainless steel range and the non-bespoke timber range because we keep a range of these items in stock.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Payment can be made to us by cheque in UK Pounds Sterling, made out to Slinky Hippo Marketing. This should be posted to us, along with details of your order number. We are able to accept payment via PayPal, and we also accept the following credit/debit cards: MasterCard, Visa, Delta, Switch, Solo, Visa Electron, and Maestro.
