Shipping and Delivery
Delivery charges vary, but as a rough guide we charge £10 or £20 for single planter orders depending on dimensions. Individual delivery charges are given on each product description page. If you wish to order a number of planters, we offer a substantial discount on delivery.
Goods will be despatched by private courier company.
We deliver to mainland United Kingdom only (ie mainland England, mainland Scotland and Wales). Due to excessive handling charges we regret that we simply can't undertake delivery outside this area.
Most of our planters will be delivered within a 3 week timescale, although in certain circumstances delivery may take longer. If the delivery is likely to take longer than this period, we will contact you.
In the event that we are unable to supply or deliver the goods ordered, we agree to provide a refund of the sum paid in respect of those goods,including delivery charges.
Please ensure that the delivery address you have given is one where there is usually somebody present to accept delivery. Items must be signed for by an individual, unless we have specific instructions in writing from our customer that the goods can be left at their premises. During the checkout process we will ask whether you have any specific requirements regarding delivery.
It is essential that you check your planters on delivery. Please do not sign for satisfactory delivery unless you have checked the planters. If the courier will not wait while you check the planters, please make a note to that effect clearly on the delivery sheet.
Damaged Goods
Do not sign for or accept delivery of damaged goods. It is essential that you check the goods before you sign for them, as your signature indicates that you have received the items in good condition. We will not accept liability for damaged goods if you have personally signed for them.
If the goods are damaged in any way do not sign for them or accept the delivery. In such a case please contact us immediately. Any damaged goods which are unsigned for must be reported to us within 3 days. After this period we will not accept liability for the goods.
Cancellation of orders on our metal and fibreglass products
All our metal planters (with the exception of the circular stainless steel range) and our fibreglass planters are individually made to order, and for this reason we do not accept cancellation of orders once placed. We encourage our customers to contact us as frequently as necessary so we can answer any queries prior to ordering. In the exceptional circumstance that we agree to a cancellation, this will only be applicable once we provide written agreement to such cancellation. In such an instance we would require the customer to reimburse to us any sum already paid by us to a supplier in respect of that order.
Returns on our metal and fibreglass products
All our metal planters (with the exception of the circular stainless steel range) and our fibreglass planters are individually made to order. All products are quality-assured prior to despatch from the workshop. We will not accept goods returned to us for credit, refund or replacement. In the exceptional circumstance that we agree to a return, this will only be applicable once we provide written agreement to such return. In such an instance we would require the customer to pay for all shipping and handling charges.
Cancellation of orders and returns on circular stainless steel planters and timber planters
We will accept any returned planters from the circular stainless steel range and from the non-bespoke timber range, provided they are returned to us within 7 days from receipt of delivery. It is important that you contact us first to discuss the returns process before despatching the items to us. Returned items will only be accepted under the following circumstances:
- the goods must be in their original condition and sent by recorded delivery;
- we shall not be liable for the despatch or return postage and shipping costs of the goods;
- we shall not accept returned goods without the original packaging and instructions.
General Terms and Conditions
The owners of this site shall not be liable for any damages resulting from a visitor's use of, or inability to use, this site or the products therein. We do our utmost to ensure that the infomation provided on this website is accurate and up-to-date, but we are not liable for any typographical errors displayed on the website. We would be pleased to hear from you if you notice an error. Similarly, in the unlikely event that a product is advertised at an incorrect price, due to typographical or pricing error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at that incorrect price. Where we have already accepted your order and collected payment, we will make full refund to you.
We also display hypertext links to other sites. These are provided for your information and interest, and should not be seen as our endorsement of any groups operating those sites. We are neither liable for the information contained within those sites, nor for their privacy policy.
